Hi there! I’m Cole Nemeth.

Monday to Friday, I work as a communications specialist for a non-profit. After hours, I’m a writer, artist, and content creator with a passion for authentic storytelling using a variety of mediums. Put simply, I enjoy reflecting on and documenting life as it unfolds and finding joy in the little things.

I’m just trying to say sane in a insane world.

When I’m not at my day job or creating in my home studio, I can often be found exploring nearby trails, cuddling with my four pets, or spending quality time with my loved ones. I enjoy a slow and simple life.

I’m a Pisces Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Virgo Rising
I was a teen mom at 17
I’m in a happy, committed relationship with the man of my dreams
I’m bisexual and proud of it
I was diagnosed with chronic depression and generalized anxiety disorder in my early 20s, and ADHD at 31
I have two dogs: a heeler-lab named Shiloh, and a chihuahua x named Penelope
I also have two cats, Midnight and Ellie

Creative Practice

As a writer, artist, and content creator, my creative practice is an ongoing exploration of life’s intricacies. I work with a variety of mediums, each offering a unique way to express and reflect on the world around me.

Writing

Whether through personal essays, poetry, or opinion pieces, writing allows me to capture my experiences, emotions, and thoughts in a way that encourages others to think more deeply about their own lives. I enjoy blending introspection with practical advice, and my writing often revolves around themes of personal growth, mental health, and finding beauty in the everyday.

Photography

Photography plays a significant role in my creative journey. Through the lens, I capture fleeting moments, the natural world, and the everyday beauty that often goes unnoticed. My photography is an extension of my other creative practices as both a way to preserve memories and a means to tell stories visually.

Visual Art

As a visual artist, I work across several mediums, including graphite drawing, acrylic painting, watercolours, and mixed media. My artwork serves as a visual diary, capturing moments of reflection, exploration, and self-expression.

Content Creation

In addition to my personal creative work, I enjoy sharing the process and outcome of my art with others. On my social media platforms, I document my creative journey, offering insights into my work, sharing creative tips, and engaging with my audience. It’s important to me to foster a space where creativity is celebrated, and people feel inspired to create, share, and grow together.
