About Me

Hi, I’m Cole Nemeth.

I’m a writer, photographer, designer, and emerging interdisciplinary artist based in Cambridge, Ontario.

My professional background is in communications, public relations, and environmental interpretation. I currently work as a Communications and Marketing Specialist with the Grand River Conservation Authority, where I create interpretive signage, visitor maps, educational materials, photography, and public-facing communications that help people connect with nature and place.

Alongside my professional practice, I completed a Fine Arts Certificate through Fanshawe College and continue to explore a variety of artistic mediums including photography, painting, writing, and mixed media. My portfolio includes public art, environmental interpretation, community-focused projects, and personal creative work.

I am of Six Nations Mohawk ancestry through my maternal family and belong to the Turtle Clan. My family history also includes English and Hungarian immigrant roots. These intersecting histories, along with experiences of loss, memory, and belonging, continue to inform my creative practice.

I am currently developing Inherited Quiet, an evolving multimedia project exploring family history, intergenerational trauma, cultural identity, grief, resilience, and the stories that shape who we become.
